Centre[4] Arts and Research
Through both the Community Research Platform at McMaster University and Centre[3] for Artistic + Social Practice, I am a Graduate Student Intern supporting the development of Centre[4] Arts and Research. In my current role with Centre[4], I work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to better understand how art, artistic practice, community, and research can come together in equitable partnership.
In the duration of my time working with Centre[4], I have contributed to the visioning and writing of various organizational policies, including a Partnership Agreement Template and Data Management Plan Template.
World Health Organization
Between the years of 2020-2022, I was a Research Assistant on the Task Force for Good Participatory Practices (GPP) for Emerging Pathogens Research. I worked with a team of global health experts to think through and create plans for community engagement for clinical research.
As a part of my work with the World Health Organization, I contributed to Good Participatory Practice (GPP) with Trial Populations for the Solidarity Trial Vaccines.
Women’s Centre of Calgary
In my work as Girls Leadership Coordinator at the Women’s Centre of Calgary, I developed, managed, and facilitated community-based and gender-specific programs for girls aged 10-18 years old. The programs were intended to support girls to build community and develop their skills related to leadership and activism.

As a part of my work with the Women’s Centre of Calgary, I worked with girls, program volunteers, and staff to develop Girls Lead: A Toolkit for Supporting Girls’ Leadership and Activism.
